The Women’s 100 is returning on Sunday, September 17, for its 11th year challenging women from around the world to come together and ride 100km in one day. So whether you’re just getting started on your cycling journey, or you're a seasoned pro in the saddle, sign up and clock your kilometres. This ride will meet at 8 am at Rapha San Francisco and will roll at 8:30 am. Due to the Golden Gate Bridge being closed until 10 am the morning of the ride, we have modified our original route. We'll have pre-ride donuts and coffee, and you'll be greeted with post-ride food and refreshments upon your return to the clubhouse. Follow @rapha_sanfrancisco for additional updates. The Women's 100 is open to and welcoming to women, transgender, non-binary and female-identifying riders. For safety reasons, road bikes and helmets are required. Please remember to bring flat-changing tools, an extra tube, riding snacks, and water. ROUTE: https://www.strava.com/routes/3137064276599094658

RCC/One More City Training Ride 65 Miles (Nicasio - Lucas Valley

Wow! You’ve worked your way up to a challenging ride. Like week 5, we work our way out to Fairfax and over White’s hill but instead of continuing to Pump, we turn right on Nicasio Valley Road and over to Nicasio, to fuel up. We briefly turn back around and turn on to Lucas Valley Drive, one of the most beautiful roads in all of California. After our time on Lucas Valley, we work our way through San Raphael and back over Camino Alto and into Sausalito, on your way back to the city. WELL DONE! Please fill out the waiver here to join: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScS52wsLcf0gzCFtonOLC0TxmfkRQy_4MLQ9km8YIVNXWes2A/viewform?vc=0&c=0&w=1&flr=0 8:00 coffee 8:30 roll Please note: if you don’t fill out the waiver you are not formally on the ride Unlike Week 1 and 2, this ride will have fewer regroups and those who join will need to be able to find their own way back because the distance and climbs will be more challenging than prior weeks. Therefore please download the route and be prepared to find your own way back if you happen to get dropped from the ride. Please consider setting up a rider page so you can help to raise money during your training here: https://givingtogether.ucsf.edu/campaign/the-rapha-one-more-city-century-ride-2024/c574657 Welcome to the Rapha/One More City Training series. Each week we will increase our distance and intensity, helping to build up your strength with the ultimate goal of completing the challenging 100 miles on October 19th. Shoe/Pedal retention required is required on all rides. Whereas we love our tri friends, there can be no tri bikes nor e-bikes.
