Ride Waiver for non-RCC members (Must be signed before the ride): https://signnow.com/s/FQRV3Mb0 Meet at the Roundhouse Cafe (Equator Coffee) at 8:30 and roll at 9:00. We will ride across the bridge and into Sausalito via the usual route. From there, we’ll go over Camino Alto, regrouping at the bottom and turning right on Bon Air in Larkspur to SFD and Wolfe Grade. We’ll regroup at the top of the grade and descend into San Rafael. From there we cruise around the edge of China Camp State Park counterclockwise, regrouping at the 7-11 on N. San Pedro Road. Then, we take the bike bath parallel to the freeway back to San Rafael, recrossing our outbound path at 2nd & A streets. We ride through the not-so-pretty industrial section of town and through the tunnel back to Greenbrae, hooking up with Paradise Drive just past the shopping mall. We’ll follow Paradise Drive clockwise to Tiburon, stopping for coffee and snacks. Then, we take a couple of little detours around Belvedere and Strawberry before returning back to the Clubhouse.

We’ll head up to 4 corners via Marion, before heading further up to Pantoll before descending down to Stinson for a quick coffee/pastry stop @ Parkside. 9:00 meet up for coffee, 9:30 rollout. This Rapha club ride is mostly on dirt. Gravel bikes or mountain bikes required as well as foot retention, helmets, repair gear, nutrition and smiles. Whereas we will try to regroup at the top of some hills (more to come on this during the day-of rode description), we may not be able to wait up for everyone. Roll: 10:30 Pace: Tempo Join Rapha San Francisco and the Pacos Mill Valley team for day 6 of Festive 500, Celebrating the 1 year anniversary of Pacos in Mill Valley. We'll take on one of the most iconic loops around Mount Tamalias along a route known to some as the "California Special", before heading back to Pacos for refreshments. Josef, Pacos mechanic and Rapha ride leader, will be leading the group from the clubhouse at 9:15 with the aim to arrive at Pacos around 10:00 for coffee and Donuts before a roll at 10:30. We'll try to keep the group together but please come prepared with the route downloaded and everything needed to be self-sufficient should you find yourself distanced by the group

Riders will take on the beautiful roads of West Marin before heading south on Highway 1 along Tomales Bay and back to the city. As with other Spicy Saturdays™️, expect a challenging day of punchy climbs, pace lines, and new friends as we tackle this challenging route together. We’re hitting the dirt through the Headlands out to West Point Inn on Tam and head back to the city on the road. We will end the ride at Radhaus around lunchtime where all cyclists are welcome, Prost! Parking is always available at Radhaus, just roll over to Rapha to join us by 830. We'll cruise up to Larkspur and grab a coffee at Equator, a Donut at Donut Alley (bring cash) or bagels at Boichik. The world is our oyster, so we can decide as a group where we wanna hang. Meet @ Rapha at 9:00am Roll @ 9:30am Pace will be social. This ride is all about meeting new people and getting some outdoor ride motivation. That said, if you wanna send it...go for it. You can also paste this to your browser and it should work...www[dot]givingtogether[dot]ucsf[dot]edu/campaign/the-rapha-one-more-city-century-ride-2024/c574657 Rapha One More City Ride - San Francisco On October 19, 2024, The Rapha/One More City century begins at Rapha Clubhouse San Francisco in the Marina District. It starts by riding through The Presidio and over the Golden Gate Bridge. After passing through Sausalito, the ride connects to the Mill Valley Bike Path, climbs Camino Alto and continues through Larkspur, Corte Madera and Fairfax, before the first proper climb, White's Hill. After descending Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, the route turns rural, riding through Nicasio Valley and Hicks Valley. After turning left onto Marshall Petaluma road, enjoy the undulations before the biggest climb of the day, Marshall Wall. After descending the other side of the wall, you turn left onto Route 1 (be sure to fully stop at this intersection), with a long (paceworthy) road leading into Point Reyes Station. After enjoying a (self-provided) food stop at Point Reyes Station, you continue on Route 1 all the way back into Mill Valley, passing through Olema, Stinson and Muir Beach. When you arrive at Pelican inn, you attack your last big climb on Route One, then descend into at Tam Junction. At this point you are about 10 miles away. Keep it safe and continue back to Rapha Headquarters for dinner at Shake Shack (they are giving riders discounts). Then come to the clubhouse, grab a drink and share the stories with all your new friends. This self-supported ride is intended to be a ton of fun and to provide an opportunity to ride with old friends and new, including Christine O’Connell, founder of One More city, who is making the trip all the way from London to ride with us. The ride is also intended to be challenging so please come prepared and ride within your own abilities. We highly encourage you to reach out to ask any questions you may have. Here is the route: POST RIDE ACTIVITIES We closed the street down in front of Rapha so you can arrive safely and take your time. SF Bike coalition will be providing bike parking at the clubhouse from 4:00-7:00. Shake Shack, which is across from the clubhouse, has generously offered discounts on their food. Their entire patio will be available with heaters so you can relax while you eat. There will be beverages available at the clubhouse after the ride with entertainment and drawings for Rapha swag. ABOUT THE CAUSE The goal of the century is to raise $50,000 for metastatic breast cancer research and this year we have partnered with UCSF to be the beneficiary of the funds. The funds we raise will directly support the work of Laura Esserman, MD, Andrei Goga, MD, PhD, and Laura J. van ’t Veer, PhD, whose research, including clinical trials at the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, is leading to treatments that help metastatic breast cancer patients live longer while experiencing fewer side effects. One More City is an annual cycling campaign in October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month) with a simple ethos: the journey is never over; we are always progressing towards the next city, there are always more kilometres to do, more climbs to conquer and more challenges to face. This is akin to the reality of anyone living with cancer, especially secondary cancer, for whom the challenge is never over; there are always more treatments to endure, more scans to face, more side effects to campaign is focused on raising awareness of secondary breast cancer, and funding innovative research into this disease which killed nearly 12,000 women in 2016 in the UK alone. It was founded by Christine O’Connell, a keen cyclist who was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer in 2018. Meet at the clubhouse at 8:00. Roll at 8:30. Here's your opportunity to ride the full length of two of the region's classic cycling roads - in a single ride. We start out as if we were doing the Alpine Dam route, stopping briefly in Fairfax. From there, we catch Bo-Fax Road to the Dam and up to Ridgecrest. Then we descend Bo-Fax Road to (surprise!) Bolinas, where we turn left down the coast to Stinson Beach. We'll stop in Stinson for some food before tackling the Panoramic Highway climb (5.5km) to Pantoll station. We regroup at Pantoll and descend past 4 corners to Hwy 1 (the end of Panoramic Hwy) and then retrace our route back to the clubhouse.
